The model features a concrete foundation and a small, attached office with a flat lean-to-roof. You can use it anytime you need to check a vehicle’s tare and filling weight, e.g. at stone breaking works, landfills or other industrial facilities. The model is made of a mixture of plastics and special cardboard.

Many industries have weighbridges for incoming or outgoing trucks and wagons. Rubbish facilities, quarries {stone, gravel, shingle, limestone, lime,) sawmills (timber, sawdust,) mines (coal, minerals), and food factories, all are likely to have weighbridges or vehicle scales.
